Let's start at the beginning.

I don't know about you but I find myself in a state of frustration with conversations surrounding the news cycle in this country.

This source is a liberal rag.
That source is right-wing propaganda.

The truth is that both statements are true to some extent.

Over the past decade plus, bias has begun slipping into mainstream media. More than that, there's a wealth of new media companies that have a specific viewpoint and push that with their articles.

So how do you know what to believe? Our friends at AllSides are trying to help. AllSides is on a mission to help people get the full picture so they can better understand the world – and each other.

And we're here to help.

Things have become so polarized in the states that it's hard to find common ground. One thing we can all agree on is that the truth should matter more.

In starting unbiased, my goal was simple: show the angle that various media orgs take on the same topic.

Do those viewpoints align?
If not, where do they diverge?
More importantly, is there a trend to the diversions?

In an era of strong opinions, unbiased is not that. It's objective facts free from bias or opinion. If you don't believe us: check our work. We cite our sources at every turn and we talk about where things get gray.
